Primary Skill Set 5- 7 years of software engineering experience, preferably in data-intensive environments. Proficient in Python 3.11/3.12. Data-intensive environment experience : familiarity with processing, transforming, or managing large datasets efficiently. Version control (Git) - hands-on experience with branching, merging, and pull requests. Debugging and performance tuning - ability to profile and optimize Python applications. Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest) and maintaining automated testing pipelines. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and scripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and integration. Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Write automated tests and maintain code quality through reviews. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and production issues promptly. Write clean, readable, and efficient Python code and unix shell scripts. (ref:hirist.tech)
