Primary Objective:

The Insulation Installer will lay or replace insulation materials in buildings to control or maintain building temperature.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems
• Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines
• Loads and unloads insulation materials
• Installs or sprays insulation in attics
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed
• Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite
• Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
• Ensures all installations follow guidelines and quality standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned
  
  

About You:

• Extensive knowledge of insulation materials
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Construction and Related experience preferred
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
