What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and refining an AI-powered learning ecosystem that demonstrably surpasses conventional education, supported by concrete improvements in student performance metrics
• Interacting directly with students via virtual channels to grasp their learning journeys, obstacles, and achievements, applying these observations to drive ongoing refinement of the learning ecosystem
• Extracting insights from learning platform data to identify actionable opportunities and create high-impact academic strategies utilizing AI/ML, learning science, and motivational research
• Fostering a culture of ambitious experimentation and data-informed decision-making, using analytics to generate breakthrough improvements in student growth patterns
• Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to convert academic insights and student input into polished product improvements

• Wrapping traditional schooling in AI packaging. This role isn't about digitizing classroom teaching – we're reimagining learning fundamentally.

Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-enabled, teacher-less education to produce outstanding student results across multiple campuses. Combine data analysis with frequent student interaction to persistently refine our learning ecosystem, as evidenced by AP exam scores and MAP assessment gains.

Basic Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Leadership experience in education or EdTech
• Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional context
• Experience designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
• Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational approaches
• Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
