Role Description
The Instagram Growth Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for planning and executing Instagram growth strategies to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation for Hiring Insider. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, collaborating on short-form video concepts, optimizing captions and hashtags, and managing posting schedules. The specialist will monitor analytics, run experiments (e.g., Reels formats, posting times, content themes), and refine strategies based on data. Additional responsibilities include engaging with the community through comments and DMs, coordinating with the content and coaching teams to align messaging, and staying current with Instagram trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Instagram strategy, audience growth, and engagement, including expertise with Reels, Stories, and other native formats.
- Candidates should possess skills in content creation and copywriting, such as writing compelling hooks, captions, and calls-to-action tailored for Instagram.
- Candidates should possess skills in social media analytics and experimentation, including tracking performance metrics, A/B testing, and translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic design and visual storytelling, using tools like Canva or similar platforms to create on-brand posts and templates.
- Candidates should possess skills in community management and relationship-building, including responding to comments and DMs and fostering meaningful conversations with followers.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience managing or growing Instagram accounts (personal or brand), familiarity with the career development or edtech space, and strong written communication skills in English.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, comfort working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
