Job Title: Inside Sales Executive – B2B Lead Generation (Startup)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
As an Inside Sales Executive focusing on lead generation, you will be the engine driving our revenue pipeline.
You will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and qualifying potential B2B clients, turning suspects into marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and sales-qualified leads (SQLs).
You will work closely with founders' office people at Uplers to generate leads and set up calls with prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting: Generate new business opportunities by cold calling, emailing, and leveraging LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Targeting & Research: Identify key decision-makers (CXOs, VPs, Directors, HR leaders) in target organizations and map potential client needs.
Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) criteria.
Pipeline Generation: Maintain a high-volume outbound cadence to consistently fill the sales pipeline, aimed at setting meetings for senior sales team.
CRM Management: Update and maintain accurate lead, contact, and opportunity data in CRM (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce).
Feedback Loop: Provide regular feedback to marketing on lead quality and market insights to refine targeting strategies.
Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets for outbound activity, SQLs generated, and meetings booked.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or business development, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
Tools: Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce), and email automation tools.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; high emotional intelligence (EQ) for building quick rapport.
Resilience: A "hustler" mentality with the ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a "Seed" to "Series A" startup.
Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Lusha, Outreach.io or Apollo.io.
