Job Description

Office based Sales / Inside Sales Engineer

This role involves lead generation, end-to-end enquiry management through SAP, timely customer support and relationship management,

coordination with the sales team, order execution, payment collection, and providing office-based sales support.


Your job:

  • Track open quotations and orders to accelerate business turnover.
  • Manage credit controls and support customer-specific pricing strategies based on business potential.
  • Drive conversion of competitor products to Festo equivalents and support the field sales team in capturing new business to increase market share.
  • Play a key role in proposing value engineering initiatives and optimized automation solutions.
  • Train and update the customers on new product launches and phased-out products.
  • Gather and share market intelligence on competitors and industry trends.


Your qualification:

  • The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales.
  • The person should proactively understand customer needs, drives business opportunities with the sales team and ensures efficient order execution through strong product knowledge and clear customer communication.
