Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales Representative role based in Bengaluru. The Inside Sales Representative will manage inbound and outbound sales calls, respond to inquiries, and promote SIFOCOM’s telecom, networking, and IT service offerings to potential and existing customers. The role involves identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and coordinating with the sales and technical teams to develop tailored proposals and quotations. The Inside Sales Representative will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, track pipeline activities, and follow up consistently to achieve sales targets. Day-to-day responsibilities also include nurturing customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels, and providing timely updates on products, services, and support options.

Qualifications

  • Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities.
  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Account Management capabilities to manage pipelines, renewals, and upsell or cross-sell services.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use CRM tools and basic productivity software to manage sales activities and reporting.
  • Understanding of telecom, networking, or IT services is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proactive attitude, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or 12th pass minimum; a Bachelor's degree (BA, B.Com, BSc) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in telesales, outbound calling, or educational counseling.
  • Languages: Excellent verbal communication in English. Fluency in local languages (Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or Hindi) is highly valued for regional conversions.
  • Skills: Active listening, convincing power, and basic computer/CRM proficiency.



🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Making outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest in courses, coaching, or university programs.
  • Counseling: Explaining course curriculums, fee structures, and enrollment procedures.
  • Follow-Ups: Tracking leads, sending brochures/emails, and scheduling walk-ins or counseling sessions.
  • Data Management: Updating and maintaining accurate records of student interactions in the company database.



💰 Salary & Compensation

In Bengaluru, entry-level to mid-level telecallers typically earn between ₹2.0 to ₹3.5 Lakhs per annum (approx. ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month), depending on communication skills and prior B2B/B2C sales experience. Attractive performance-based incentives are also common.
