Role Description This is a full-time, on-site (Night Shift) Sales Business Development ( Inside Sales Manager) role based in Bengaluru South. The Sales Business Development professional will identify and qualify prospective learners and corporate clients, generate leads through outbound and inbound channels, and conduct needs assessments to align customer requirements with Simplilearn’s programs. Responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, delivering product presentations and demos, following up on leads, and closing sales to meet and exceed revenue targets. The role involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, providing feedback on market trends, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems. The individual will also ensure a high standard of customer service, build long-term relationships, and represent Simplilearn’s brand and values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, track performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, address inquiries, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify target segments, develop prospect lists, and understand competitive landscapes.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or inside sales, preferably in edtech, training, or related industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic MS Office or equivalent productivity software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a consultative selling approach, and a keen interest in digital skills and professional education.
  • Minimum 1 year of Experience Maximum 3 Years in B2B , B2C Sales
