The demand for reliable power infrastructure is accelerating and we are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer who can connect customer needs to the right solution.

What you'll actually do:

• Work RFQs across an assigned territory. Your job is to understand what the customer needs, figure out how PGR can solve it, and put together a proposal that holds up to engineering scrutiny. Our Engineering team handles the detailed design work from there.
• Read schematics and one-line diagrams well enough to scope a solution and ask the right questions.
• Own the customer relationship from first conversation through delivery. You are their primary point of contact throughout the order.
• Work with manufacturers reps, consulting engineers, and OEMs on a regular basis.
• Stay in close contact with our Engineering team so that what gets quoted can actually be built.

What we're looking for:

• BSEE or related technical degree required. Resistor experience is not expected. A working familiarity with electrical distribution theory is helpful, and we will train the right candidate on our products, applications, and processes.
• Comfort with power systems concepts: switchgear, VFDs, motor control, transformers, etc.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Two or more years in electrical industry applications, sales engineering, or field service is helpful. Strong new grads with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
• Clear written communication skills. Technical proposals need to be accurate and readable, not just thorough.
