Internal Sales Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

I'm looking for a driven and technically-minded Internal Sales Engineer to join a growing sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of customer support, technical sales, and engineering know-how.

As part of the internal sales department, you’ll be instrumental in delivering responsive, high-quality support to customers while helping the business grow in key markets.

What the Role Involves:

• Responding to customer enquiries with detailed, tailored technical and commercial quotations.
• Working closely with external sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Managing the full order process — from initial enquiry to quote submission and follow-up.
• Maintaining project database and CRM system with up-to-date information.
• Supporting customers by providing clear, accurate information

What We’re Looking For:

• A background in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a sales or customer focussed role
• Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree, HND, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• A proactive, organised, and customer-focused approach to work.
• Great communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
