We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Server Migrations Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing automation solutions that support large-scale server and data center migrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions to modern infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms like Azure and GCP. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines to support server and infrastructure migrations Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current environments and define migration strategies Execute end-to-end migration plans with minimal downtime and risk Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions Build and manage APIs and automation scripts using Python Support cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure provisioning Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Bachelor?s degree with proven experience in data center or server migration projects Hands-on experience with CI or CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions Familiarity with OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms Solid proficiency in Python scripting and API development Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration Proven excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, or AWS) Experience with PowerShell or Shell scripting Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
