Join us as an Infrastructure Engineer
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be engineering technical infrastructures for departmental applications and services. You’ll be working on service or change initiatives, ensuring their availability and maintaining, managing and deploying technology infrastructure on behalf of either the function or investment projects.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be engineering technical infrastructures for departmental applications and services. You’ll be working on service or change initiatives, ensuring their availability and maintaining, managing and deploying technology infrastructure on behalf of either the function or investment projects.
You’ll Also Be
- Reviewing deployment documentation for all departmental infrastructure components from application and development
- Providing a base build for the development environment for the system and handover to the application and development teams
- Building the user acceptance testing environment for the system and managing all updates to the departmental infrastructure during the migration phase of the system
- Creating technical test plans and recording results for the infrastructure components, as well as engaging the application and development teams to assist with conducting these tests
- Creating technical implementation plans and running books for system deliveries

You’ll Also Demonstrate
- Strong Private Cloud engineering background with demonstrated proficiency in automating IaaS services using VMware Aria Automation (vRA)
- Hands‑on expertise with VMware Aria Orchestrator (vRO), with proven ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot automated workflows
- Good knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) core component vCenter, vSAN, SDDC Manager, NSX
- Strong automation scripting skills javascript, powershell, python
- Experience delivering engineered solutions within a Software Defined Network
- The ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- A good understanding of Agile methodologies and supporting toolsets such as Gitlab, Jira and Confluence
- Further knowledge across the infrastructure stack such as server, operating system, virtualisation, database, storage or network
- ServiceNow experience beneficial for the transition from Serviceware (HelpLine/Pi7) to strategic ITSM
