Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary

DevOps Engineer (Azure Networking & Palo Alto Firewall)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a solid foundation in Azure cloud networking and practical experience in Palo Alto firewall maintenance. The role involves supporting cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity, and contributing to automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Networking

Configure and manage VNets, subnets, NSGs, and routing tables.

Support hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN gateways, ExpressRoute).

Assist in managing load balancers, application gateways, and firewalls.

Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using Azure tools.

Palo Alto Firewall Maintenance

Perform routine administration of Palo Alto firewalls.

Apply and maintain security policies, NAT rules, and VPN configurations.

Handle firmware upgrades, patching, and basic troubleshooting.

Work with Panorama for centralized management.

DevOps & Automation

Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) for provisioning.

Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and security updates.

Write scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation of routine tasks.

Contribute to compliance and security posture improvements.

Technical experience

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Networking, including VNets, NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.

Practical experience in Palo Alto firewall administration, including policy management, NAT, VPNs, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Exposure to Panorama for centralized Palo Alto firewall management.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing infrastructure and security changes.

Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automating routine operational tasks.

Understanding of cloud security best practices, network segmentation, and compliance requirements.

Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams in a production environment.

Educational Qualification

BCA in Computers, BSc in Any Specialization, BTech/BE in Any Specialization.
