Role Description The Information Technology Specialist will manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure operations across all systems and networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring network performance, resolving technical issues, and implementing security measures to protect data and systems. The role involves providing responsive on-site support to internal users, documenting common issues and solutions, and coordinating with external vendors and service providers as needed. The specialist will also assist with technology upgrades, backups, and basic training for team members to promote effective use of IT resources. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kaman.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Information Technology and Troubleshooting to manage systems, diagnose issues, and maintain reliable operations.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security to configure, monitor, and protect wired and wireless networks.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to support internal users, communicate clearly, and handle requests professionally.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), basic server management, and common office software tools.
  • Ability to document processes, follow standard procedures, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+) are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
