Location: Onsite in Downtown Cincinnati

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead strategic technology and business initiatives that deliver meaningful business value and improve operational effectiveness. In this role, you'll partner with stakeholders across business and IT teams to drive projects from planning through execution, ensuring successful delivery of objectives, timelines, and budgets.

What You'll Do

• Lead medium-to-large technology and business projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology partners, and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate project meetings, daily standups, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Track and communicate project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare and distribute meeting notes, action items, status reports, and executive updates.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to align project outcomes with organizational goals.
• Identify project challenges early and recommend solutions to keep initiatives on track.
• Support both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies based on project needs.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional technology and/or business initiatives.
• Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification, or the ability to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.
• Demonstrated project management experience (as a Project Manager, not solely a Business Analyst).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• ITIL and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/workflow platforms.
• Familiarity with Modern Requirements and related requirements management tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration platforms.
