Information Technology Network Specialist

The key job responsibilities include the following:
Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. · Configuring and installing various network Cisco devices, Palo Alto/Panorama and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, SDWAN, WLAN, Cisco Controllers, palo alto, QoS) · Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
The Key Skills Required:
Hands-on experience in networking, Palo Alto firewall and switching technologies of 10 years and above. · In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, RIPV2, 802.11, QoS), etc. · Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model. · Network Planning, Design and Implementation experience in HLD and LLD · Throughout knowledge of IPv4/v6 migration techniques, policy languages · Solid understanding of routing and switching products and technologies · Experience with firewalls, internet VPNs, SDWAN, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Experience in reverse engineering and problem solving · Strong overall understanding of the technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and telecommunications operator. · CCNA or CCNP certifications is a plus. Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes, like, SLA, Change/Release Management. Experience in using ticketing tools such as service now, remedy will be an added advantage. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferable (Nice to have) skill:
Relevant professional certifications, such as CCNP, CWNP, CISSP, PCCSA certifications.
