Information Security Engineer

Information Security Engineer | Boston (Hybrid) | $135,000 - $145,000 + 15% Bonus

We’re partnering with a leading professional services firm to hire an Information Security Engineer to join a high-performing and growing security team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of experience looking to step into a more engineering-focused role within a collaborative, learning-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting and enhancing a modern cybersecurity program across cloud, endpoints, and network
• Working hands-on with security tooling across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SSE/Zero Trust platforms
• Triage and investigation of security alerts, alongside incident response activities
• Contributing to security engineering initiatives, including DLP and data protection
• Supporting IAM/PAM controls and broader access security initiatives
• Collaborating with teams to implement secure-by-design solutions

Tech Environment

• Netskope (or similar: Zscaler highly relevant)
• CrowdStrike, Rapid7, CyberArk (nice to have)
• Azure / AWS cloud security
• Strong focus on networking fundamentals and traffic visibility

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years in Security Engineering / Security Operations
• Strong technical foundation (networking, systems, cloud)
• Experience with security monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Open to strong analysts ready to step into an engineering role
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
