Must have skills : Tech Solution Architecture Good to have skills : Microsoft Azure Architecture, Microservices and Light Weight Architecture Minimum 12 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: We are seeking a Senior Architect with 8+ years of architecture and solution design experience in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). The candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing the architecture of complex enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability. The role requires a strong foundation in application modernization, cloud-native design patterns, event-driven architecture, DevOps, and data platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale enterprise applications built on Java Spring Boot microservices. Drive application modernization and cloud migration initiatives using Azure/AWS cloud-native services. Lead the design of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Provide architectural governance, best practices, and design reviews across engineering teams. Collaborate with delivery leads, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure architectural decisions consider security, compliance, observability, and performance. Guide teams in DevOps enablement, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes). Evaluate and recommend modern data stores, caching solutions, and integration patterns for application workloads. Stay updated on cloud services, frameworks, and technology trends, bringing innovation into the architecture. Mentor developers and engineers, building technical excellence across the team. Professional & Technical Skills: Core Architecture & Design 8+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture and solution design. Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs. Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven design. Hands-on experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC). Additional Information: Familiarity with 12-factor app methodology, cloud-native patterns, and distributed systems design. Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS) Experience architecting solutions using Azure PaaS/IaaS services such as: App Services, Spring Apps, AKS, Azure Functions Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs API Management (APIM) Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache OR equivalent AWS services (EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ElastiCache, API Gateway, MSK, SNS/SQS). Designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and DR-enabled architectures. DevOps & Deployment Experience in CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation). Data & Integration Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB). Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis, Memcached). Experience in streaming & messaging platforms (Kafka, Service Bus, Event Hubs). Security & Observability Expertise in application security, authentication & authorization (OAuth2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSO). Experience with logging, monitoring, and tracing using Azure Monitor, App Insights, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Dynatrace. The candidate should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Cloud architecture certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) strongly preferred. The candidate should have 15 years of experience.
