About the Team

The Taxation team at Navi is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s tax obligations, ensuring compliance. The team works on tax planning, reporting, and strategy, helping the organization optimize tax efficiency while mitigating risks.

About the Role

This role offers an opportunity to build a foundation in corporate tax and compliance. You will play a vital supportive role from assisting with routine filings and litigations to helping the team identify opportunities for tax optimization. You will gain direct exposure on how tax functions impact business decisions while collaborating with internal stakeholders and liaisoning with tax authorities.

What We Expect From You

• Assist the team in monthly TDS and Equalization levy compliances
• Assist the team in monthly GST Compliances
• Assist in other day-to-day, monthly, quarterly activities (like Stat Audit support
• Preparation and maintenance of monthly GL recons for TDS and GST
• Assist in GST Credit Reconciliation
• Data collation and preparation of documents for various Direct /Indirect Tax litigations/notices

Must Haves

• Candidates should have a deep knowledge and understanding of direct and indirect taxes, accounting standards, accounting principles and application thereof.
• Tax experience during articleship is preferred.
• Must be hands on MS Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle is desirable though not mandatory
