THIS IS YOUR ROLE Function : Industrial Engineering Post: Industrial Engineer Trade: Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (BE) Experience: 8-10 years Job description: Candidate should be enthusiastic with positive mindset for new changes and ready to try new ideas, technology and with bit of automation and digitalization knowledge. Will have to focus more on automation of current processes/machines/activities with digitalization of data recordings/displays and data analysis. If has worked with softwares like IDEAs, Autocad, Power BI, PLCs will be of added advantage. 1 Projects Leads and maintains project timelines. Drives/guides people from project team to achieve common goal. Trains people to achieve expected results. Has a LEAN mindset and is equipped with LEAN tools for transformation. Manages project financial goals and related documentation. Sets processes which are safe and result oriented with best quality. Drives cost out projects. Explores opportunities and creates project proposals for automation/digitalization. Designing and coordinating automation/digital transformation initiatives Sustenance Maintaining the laid down processes and its documentation. Plant layout and the modifications therein. Carrying out and documentation of Calibration of measuring instruments and process validations, fixture validations. Coordination of building maintenance with SRE. Capacity calculations, line balancing and line design. Asist for implementing the change management activities. Maintaining and updating MSDS of substances used in production. Improvements Assist Process planning in introduction of new products and technologies. Improve existing processes through automation / digitalization Handling and coordinating the equipment purchases, automation and digitalization projects, Future lab projects. Generate VAM savings through improvements Generate ideas through 3i and implement to generate savings. Conduct KAIZEN workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate improvement ideas. Implementation of new tools and techniques to reduce the assembly time. Legal and other activities Lead in energy saving activities, EnMS audits and related documentation.
