Job Description
Anthropologie is looking for a Product Development Coordinator whose role supports both Product Development and Production functions for the Functional Decor category, coordinating day-to-day vendor communication, sample tracking, costing support, and cross-functional alignment. The PD Coordinator will assist in ensuring products meet brand standards for quality, cost, and timelines while supporting the broader sourcing and diversification strategy from the India office.

Role Responsibilities
Vendor & Workflow Management:
- Manage daily vendor communication, track sample status, and follow up to maintain development and production timelines.
- Maintain WIP reports, line sheets, and development trackers in Excel/QLik.
- Ensure vendor adherence to packaging, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support target cost confirmation and early-stage negotiations to achieve margin targets.
- Leads cost comparisons across vendors and regions to identify savings opportunities.
- Oversee sample delivery timelines including prototypes and TOP samples.
- Conduct weekly visits to strategic vendors as needed.
- Manage style creation and updates in Tradestone.
- Ensure accurate communication of style and technical details to vendor partners.
- Share development updates and risk flags proactively with internal teams.
- Coordinate with US merchandising, planning, and sourcing partners to align on seasonal priorities.
- 4-6 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or merchandising (textiles/home preferred).
- Strong understanding of India vendor landscape and production processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and PLM systems (Tradestone preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills across global teams.
