This role will be part of the transaction systems team responsible for building the next generation of AI-enabled, cloud-native, microservices-driven solutions that power critical business capabilities across multiple domains. You will design and develop multi-tenant, highly scalable, and resilient systems that operate seamlessly across Edge and Cloud, enabling smarter, faster, and more intuitive experiences for customers and associates worldwide. What You Will Do Design and build scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and modern REST/gRPC frameworks. Develop intelligent systems and AI-driven applications using Python and relevant ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Contribute to the end-to-end software lifecycle ? from ideation and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment. Apply data structures and algorithmic thinking to design efficient, reliable, and performant solutions. Integrate AI/ML components into production-grade microservices and data pipelines. Partner with data scientists, product managers, and architects to translate ideas into scalable, maintainable software systems. Implement best practices for code quality, security, observability, CI/CD, and testing. Use design thinking principles to explore innovative approaches and create user-centric solutions. Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve architecture, developer experience, and system performance. What You Will Bring Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 5?8 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in backend systems, data-driven development, and AI/ML integration. Programming Languages: Strong in Java and Python Frameworks: Expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices. AI/ML: Hands-on experience with ML model development, APIs, or inference pipelines (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Architecture: Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven design (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Data: Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data processing frameworks. Engineering Practices: Proficient with Git, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and automated testing. Problem Solving: Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and system design. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration. Growth mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies. Ability to balance innovation with pragmatism ? ?build for scale, design for change.? Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying and monitoring AI/ML models in production. Familiarity with vector databases, LLM integration, or data observability tools. Exposure to domain-driven design and API-first architecture. Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
