About the Role
This is HyPrix's first dedicated HR hire — which means you're not inheriting someone else's processes. You're helping build them.
We're looking for an HR Admin & Talent Acquisition Associate who can manage hiring pipelines, coordinate recruitment processes, and maintain the HR structure needed for a fast-growing deep-tech engineering team. The primary focus is talent acquisition — identifying and closing strong engineering, research, and operations talent in a niche technical environment. Alongside hiring, the role covers onboarding coordination, HR documentation, and people operations.
Required Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR operations, or HR administration
Core Responsibilities
1) Talent Acquisition & Hiring Coordination
Own the recruitment pipeline across all open roles. Source candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, universities, and professional networks. Maintain structured candidate pipelines and recruitment trackers. Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and internal interviewers. Track candidate progress across stages, collect and organize interviewer feedback, and ensure timely professional communication throughout. Assist with drafting and publishing job descriptions. Support offer documentation preparation and build long-term talent pipelines for engineering and technical roles.
2) HR Administration & Documentation
Maintain structured HR documentation and employee records — contracts, joining documentation, offer letters, and employee information databases. Maintain organized folders for all HR documents. Ensure records remain accurate and accessible at all times.
3) Onboarding & Offboarding Support
Coordinate onboarding documentation and initial employee setup. Ensure onboarding processes are completed smoothly for every new hire. Assist with offboarding documentation and administrative processes when required. Maintain records related to all employee transitions.
4) HR Operations Support
Assist in drafting and maintaining internal HR policies. Support documentation related to attendance, leave tracking, and employee records. Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance team when required. Handle basic HR queries and maintain consistent documentation across the org.
5) HR Tools & Systems
Maintain HR data across internal systems and trackers. Support usage of tools such as Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, and Jira. Ensure employee information remains accurate and up to date across all platforms.
6) Administrative & Office Support
Support general office administration and coordination. Assist with travel coordination and logistics when required. Maintain asset allocation records and internal equipment trackers. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational or administrative issues.
Required Abilities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes and hiring pipelines simultaneously. Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and professional communication platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
Experience hiring for engineering, deep-tech, hardware, or R&D teams; exposure to Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, or Jira; familiarity with HR documentation; interest in aerospace, defence, or deep-tech.
