Role Description The Human Resources Assistant is a remote, contract role that supports day-to-day HR operations and employee services. Responsibilities include maintaining HR records and HRIS data, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and responding to routine employee inquiries. The role also involves supporting benefits administration, coordinating training and development activities, and helping ensure HR policies and procedures are followed. The Human Resources Assistant collaborates with HR leadership to streamline workflows, prepare basic HR reports, and contribute to a positive, compliant, and organized work environment.

Qualifications
- Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills to support core HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for accurate data entry, record maintenance, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Benefits Administration to assist with enrollment, changes, and employee questions.
- Ability to coordinate and support Training initiatives, including scheduling, tracking participation, and maintaining training records.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with basic employment laws and HR best practices; experience in healthcare or technology environments is a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
