Role: HSE Process Specialist

Required Technical Skill Set:

Graduate (BE/M Sc. and above) / Post Graduate degree in Engineering / Science with a Post Graduate degree or equivalent degree in Environment / Occupational Health / Safety Engineering or Management

Desired Experience Range: 8 - 10 years

Location: Pune/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Bhubaneswar

Desired Competencies :

Must-Have:

1.Technical understanding of current trends environmental and occupational health & safety, Sustainability Reporting, Incident Management, Occupational Health and employee wellbeing, etc.

2. Hands-on work experience in identifying environmental and H&S concerns, recommending and driving mitigation actions in line with Pt. 1 above

3. Systems approach to HSE management, preferably as per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and EnMS as per ISO 50001:2018. Must have reasonable exposure to devising / implementing these processes.

4. Should understand and leverage multi-stakeholder involvement in deployment of HSE processes and initiatives. Team player

5. Exposure to latest environmental technologies like waste management, energy conservation and management, resource management etc.

6. Understanding of legal requirements (national / international) and ability to drive compliance

Good-to-Have:

1.Certified internal auditor for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001

2. Worked in a similar organization in terms of nature of business and scale of operation

3. Handled environmental / OHS improvement programs, external reporting, etc.

4. Hands on experience on Carbon accounting and environmental sustainability.

5. Understanding of Environmental Sustainability reporting obligations and experience on Integrated Reporting, GRI, DJSI, CDP, Ecovadis, etc. would be preferred.

6. Exposure to latest environmental sustainability concepts like climate change mitigation and adaptation, SBTi, TCFD, waste management, energy conservation and management, resource management etc.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

Implement HSE processes in the organization as per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Identify opportunities for improving processes and procedures based on requirement and ensure high maturity of processes and procedures

Facilitate the stakeholder teams to implement HSE processes related to them through a ‘handholding’ approach

Identify opportunities for new HSE initiatives and ensure deployment in consultation with concerned stakeholders.

Carry out internal HSE audits as per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, prepare audit reports and monitor closure of findings.

Co-ordinate HSE activities at regional level in co-ordination with stakeholders

Carry out HSE inspections, identify gaps and ensure closure.

Monitor applicable legal compliances and ensure strict compliance.
