HSE Engineer

Job Description

Years of Experience : 7-10 years Educational Qualifications : B.E/B.Tech (Civil) Purpose of the Role: To ensure the implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental standards on the AI/Data Centre project. The HSE Engineer is responsible for developing safety plans, conducting audits and inspections, training personnel, and ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant work environment across all construction and operational activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Enforce compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and industry standards across all sites, ensuring zero incidents and injuries. 2. Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and inspections; identify potential risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented. 3. Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training programs for all staff, contractors, and visitors. 4. Monitor environmental performance, manage waste, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices. 5. Investigate incidents or near misses, prepare reports, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans, and follow up to closure. 6. Collaborate with construction, civil, electrical and mechanical teams to integrate HSE requirements into daily site activities and project planning. 7. Maintain HSE documentation, permits, inspection records, and compliance reports for management and regulatory purposes.
