Your Role
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Workday platform. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday effectively supports business processes, maintains data integrity, and delivers an exceptional employee experience.
The HRIS Analyst provides day-to-day system administration, reporting, production support, testing, and process improvement while contributing to Workday enhancements, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Workday platform. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday effectively supports business processes, maintains data integrity, and delivers an exceptional employee experience.
The HRIS Analyst provides day-to-day system administration, reporting, production support, testing, and process improvement while contributing to Workday enhancements, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Workday Administration & Support
- Administer and maintain Workday and supporting HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, notifications, calculated fields, and security roles within established governance standards
- Troubleshoot system issues, investigate production defects, and resolve user inquiries in accordance with service level expectations
- Support user security administration and maintain system documentation
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports to support HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders
- Serve as a primary point of contact for HR systems and reporting questions
- Develop end-user documentation and deliver basic system training as needed
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to understand business requirements and recommend scalable Workday solutions
- Support Workday releases by evaluating new functionality, coordinating testing, documenting changes, and assisting with deployment activities
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management activities.
- Participate in system enhancements, module implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation, configuration enhancements, and improved workflows
- Support implementation activities by validating configurations and documenting testing results
- Perform data audits and validation activities to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity
- Support internal audits and ensure HR data complies with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor data quality and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate routine HR administrative tasks using AI-enabled workflows and low-code automation tools
- Support the implementation and testing of AI-powered features within Workday and other HR technologies
- Recommend process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve data quality through responsible AI adoption
- 3–5 years of experience supporting Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Experience configuring HCM, Advanced Compensation, and other Workday functional areas
- Experience developing Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
