Job Title: HR Platform Manager (Workday)
Scope: Global
Location: Ice Cream Office Pune , India
Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced HR Platform Manager (Workday) to own the end-to-end health, performance, and evolution of our global Workday tenant. This role leads BAU operations, release & upgrade management, platform governance, integrations, and change enablement—ensuring Workday reliably supports HR, Payroll, and business users. You’ll manage a blended team of Workday analysts/SMEs and vendors, drive continuous improvements, and steer a scalable roadmap aligned to business priorities.
- Own L2/L3 BAU support across core Workday modules, ensuring SLA delivery and operational excellence.
- Lead Workday bi-annual release management including impact assessment, feature enablement, regression testing and deployment.
- Oversee platform governance, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Manage Workday configuration (Business Processes, Calculated Fields, Security, Rules).
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR/DPDP, and audit readiness.
- Own integrations portfolio including EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, PECI/PICOF.
- Drive improvements in reporting, dashboards, automation, and adoption.
- Lead and mentor a team of Workday analysts and manage vendor partners.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10–15 years total experience with at least 6–8 years in Workday.
- Deep expertise in Workday HCM plus 2+ additional modules.
- Strong experience in Workday security, configuration, integrations, and tenant management.
- Experience leading Workday releases, regression cycles, and change control.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight skills.
- Workday certifications (e.g., HCM, Integrations, Compensation, Recruiting) or Pro/Associate credentials.
- Experience with Workday Prism, BIRT, Extend, or Journeys.
- Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), and familiarity with ServiceNow.
- Exposure to SOX, GDPR/DPDP, and audit engagements.
- Background in HR process design (hire-to-retire, workforce structures, mobility), and change management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HRIS/HR, or related field.
- Master’s degree/MBAs are a plus.
