Rewards Operations & Data Governance Specialist
Glenmark is looking for a Rewards Operations & Data Governance professional to strengthen compensation operations, data controls and annual rewards cycle execution.
The role will be responsible for accurate and timely execution of compensation operations, including salary updates, compensation letters, Benchmarking operations, Annual Compensation Review (ACR) operational support, Spring / SAP / Compport data handoffs, data reconciliations, SOPs, dashboards, issue logs and maker-checker controls.
The ideal candidate will bring strong compensation operations experience, HRIS and data management capability, excellent Excel skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, stakeholder coordination, and a process-improvement mindset.
This role is not limited to transaction processing. The expectation is to help build a more standardized, controlled and scalable Rewards Operations engine that improves first-time-right quality, reduces rework and supports the Rewards Strategy team with reliable data and execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compensation operations for India / assigned markets.
- Validate and process salary updates, promotions, compensation revisions, retention payments and one-time payouts.
- Prepare, validate, release and upload compensation-related letters.
- Support ACR operational readiness, benchmarking support, data validation, letter release and post-ACR reconciliation.
- Reconcile compensation data across Spring, SAP, Compport and payroll-linked systems.
- Maintain data issue logs and drive closure with HR Tech / HRBPs / Payroll.
- Build SOPs, checklists, maker-checker controls and operational dashboards.
- Standardize trackers and identify automation / process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with Rewards Strategy, HRBPs, HR Tech, Payroll and Finance.
- Ensure strong confidentiality, documentation, and audit trail for compensation-related work.
- Acts as inquiring point on compensation amounts for new hires and changes for existing employees resulting from job reclassification, transfer, location change, promotion, performance review cycle ratings, etc.
Candidate Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Rewards Operations, Compensation Operations, HR Operations, C&B Operations or HRIS-linked compensation support.
- Experience supporting salary review / merit cycle / ACR or compensation-change processes.
- Strong Excel and data reconciliation capability.
- Experience with HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, Darwinbox, Spring, Compport or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and process-control mindset.
- Ability to manage confidential compensation data.
- Strong stakeholder coordination across HRBPs, Payroll, HR Tech and Finance.
- Ability to create SOPs, checklists, dashboards and issue logs.
- Process improvement and automation orientation preferred.
- Experience in multinational/global organizations preferred
