Role Overview
A detail‑oriented and people‑focused Onboarding Specialist with hands‑on experience supporting new hires across HR, healthcare administration, and compliance‑driven environments. Skilled in guiding candidates through end‑to‑end onboarding—from offer acceptance to successful start—while ensuring all certification, background check, and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and on time. Adept at coordinating with HR, clinical leadership, and training teams to deliver a seamless, structured, and supportive onboarding experience.
Based in India and fully open to working US time‑zone shifts, bringing strong communication skills, process discipline, and a service‑oriented mindset to global teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Certification Support: Guide new hires through RBT, BCaBA, or BCBA related onboarding requirements, as applicable. Coordinate background checks, BLS and compliance-based certifications. Support candidate successful starts on projected start dates.
- HR Onboarding and Compliance: Manage new hire onboarding tasks including employment paperwork, policy acknowledgments, and system access. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements. Partner with HR to maintain accurate personnel files and audit readiness. Support benefits enrollment and orientation logistics
- Cross Functional Coordination: Collaborate with clinical leadership, supervisors, and training teams to align onboarding timelines. Communicate clearly with new hires regarding expectations, deadlines, and next steps. Serve as a consistent point of contact throughout the onboarding journey
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience in HR onboarding, healthcare administration, or a related field. Prior experience in ABA, behavioral health, or healthcare strongly preferred
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with ABA certifications such as RBT, BCaBA, or BCBA is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously. High attention to detail and comfort working with compliance driven documentation. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Technical Competencies: Experience using HRIS platforms or learning management systems. Proficiency with standard office software and secure document handling
