Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, people-first HR Manager to lead all human resources functions at Mascot Biotech. This role sits at the intersection of people, compliance, and technology — you will build robust HR systems, attract top pharmaceutical talent, drive employee engagement, and use modern digital tools to make HR smarter and more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Statutory Compliance

  • Design and implement HR policies aligned with pharmaceutical industry standards and Mascot Biotech's values.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, Rajasthan-specific regulations, and applicable Factories/Shops & Establishments Act requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and statutory filings (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution with professionalism and empathy.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for pharma sales, production, quality, and support functions — from sourcing to smooth onboarding.
  • Use AI-powered recruitment tools (LinkedIn Talent Insights, Keka Hire, or equivalent) to improve sourcing speed and candidate quality.
  • Design and deliver training programs aligned with GMP standards, pharma compliance, and soft-skill development.
  • Build employee retention strategies that reduce attrition and strengthen Mascot's employer brand.
  • Oversee performance management cycles, appraisals, and succession planning.

3. Payroll, Benefits & HR Analytics

  • Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing through HRMS software (Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People, or equivalent).
  • Administer statutory and supplementary benefits — PF, ESIC, health insurance, bonuses, and incentive structures.
  • Leverage AI tools and HR analytics dashboards to track attrition trends, workforce productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Generate monthly HR MIS reports for leadership using data to drive evidence-based people decisions.

4. Employee Engagement & Organizational Culture

  • Foster a positive work culture aligned with Mascot Biotech's values of quality, integrity, and patient-first service.
  • Plan and execute employee welfare programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.
  • Design internal communications, HR bulletins, and engagement materials using Canva Pro.
  • Conduct regular employee pulse surveys and act on feedback to continually improve the workplace experience.

5. Digital HR Transformation

  • Champion adoption of HRMS platforms and AI-powered tools to automate routine processes and reduce turnaround time.
  • Use Canva to create professional HR collaterals — offer letters, onboarding kits, policy documents, and internal newsletters.
  • Leverage AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) for drafting JDs, HR policies, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Identify and implement digital solutions for performance tracking, leave management, and employee self-service.

6. Business Partnering & Leadership Support

  • Partner with heads across sales, production, quality, and administration to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Provide people insights and recommendations to senior leadership for workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Support Mascot Biotech's growth by building scalable HR frameworks for new teams and geographies.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HRM or a related field. Minimum 4–5 years of progressive HR experience; pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or healthcare sector exposure strongly preferred.

Core HR Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity). Experience with HRMS platforms — Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People, or similar. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Modern & Digital Skills (Essential): Proficiency in Canva for designing HR collaterals and internal communications. Working knowledge of AI tools — ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar — for HR writing and productivity. Familiarity with AI-powered ATS and recruitment platforms. Data literacy — ability to build and interpret HR dashboards and MIS reports. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
