HR Manager (Generalist)

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to own the end-to-end employee lifecycle in a fast-paced technology environment. This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai, combining strategic HR partnership with strong hands-on execution.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

• Partner with HRBP and business leaders to align HR strategy with business goals
• Lead end-to-end HR operations including payroll, benefits, compliance, and Workday
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and grievance handling
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and employer branding
• Lead HR transformation, process improvement, and digital HR initiatives
• Use HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making

Key skills required skills required

• 8+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role (tech or fast-paced industries preferred)
• Strong experience across HR operations, ER, compliance, and employee lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with Workday and HR systems
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, execution-driven environment
