Job Description

Our client is an organization undergoing a period of transformation and is seeking an experienced HR Manager on a consulting basis to provide strategic leadership and operational continuity for the Human Resources function. Reporting to the HR Director, this role will support employee relations, workforce initiatives, and HR program delivery while helping ensure seamless HR operations during the organization’s enterprise system (ERP) implementation.


Reporting to the HR Director, this role serves as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, supporting employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR program delivery while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.


Key Responsibilities:


Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ADA accommodations and claim management.


HR Strategy & Workforce Support

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through inclusive hiring and employment practices.
  • Provide HR guidance during organizational and operational changes related to ERP implementation.


HR Operations & Projects

  • Support HR initiatives and process improvements aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Participate in HR projects and operational initiatives during the ERP transition.
  • Utilize HR data and insights to support workforce and organizational decisions.


Staff Support

  • Provide functional guidance to HR Generalists, Specialists, and support staff as assigned.
  • Assist in coordinating workflow priorities and supporting team effectiveness.


Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees across assigned departments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide responsive HR support.
