Role Overview
This role will support the CHRO and business leaders in driving key HR priorities across Zapcom’s India and global teams. The role requires a hands-on HR professional who can manage day-to-day HR execution while also contributing to people initiatives such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, and compliance.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a growing technology services environment, partnering with business teams, improving HR processes, and ensuring a consistent employee experience across locations.

Experience: 8 + years in HR, preferably in IT services / technology / GCC / MNC environment
Education: MBA in HR / OB or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support
- Support hiring across engineering, product, sales, and corporate functions in partnership with the recruitment team and business leaders.
- Assist in workforce planning based on approved business requirements and hiring priorities.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure role clarity, timely interviews, feedback closure, and offer management.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and candidate experience improvements.
- Support senior-level hiring in coordination with the CHRO and leadership team.
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business managers to understand team-level people priorities and provide HR support.
- Support employee connect initiatives, manager discussions, and people-related interventions.
- Assist in organization structure updates, role clarity, and internal movement discussions.
- Provide inputs on retention, team morale, and employee concerns.
Performance & Rewards
- Support the annual performance appraisal process, including timelines, communication, data tracking, and manager follow-ups.
- Assist in merit increase, promotion, and performance calibration discussions.
- Support compensation benchmarking and internal parity reviews under CHRO guidance.
- Help drive a performance-oriented culture through process discipline and timely closure.
Learning, Development & Culture
- Support learning and development initiatives based on business and employee development needs.
- Coordinate leadership, functional, and behavioral training programs.
- Assist in employee engagement activities, pulse surveys, feedback collection, and action planning.
- Support initiatives that promote continuous feedback, inclusion, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.
HR Operations, Compliance & Systems
- Ensure smooth execution of HR operations such as onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, documentation, and employee record management.
- Support statutory and internal compliance requirements in coordination with Finance, Legal, and external consultants.
- Maintain HRMS data accuracy and support process automation wherever required.
- Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and people analytics for leadership review.
- Support payroll inputs and employee data governance for India and global teams.
- Maintain HR SOPs for onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling.
Employee Experience & Retention
- Support employee lifecycle initiatives from onboarding to exit.
- Conduct employee connects, stay discussions, and exit feedback analysis.
- Help identify attrition risks and support retention actions in partnership with business leaders.
- Strengthen onboarding programs to improve early engagement and productivity.
- Contribute to initiatives around diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in IT services, technology, GCC, or MNC environment.
- Good exposure to HR business partnering, talent acquisition support, performance management, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Experience working with multi-location or global teams will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of compensation, benefits, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, and HR systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, follow-up, and execution skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to balance employee experience and business needs.
Preferred Skills
- HRBP and employee relations experience.
- Understanding of IT / technology services workforce models.
- Strong Excel, HRMS, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders while managing execution at ground level.
- Good judgment, confidentiality, and maturity in handling sensitive people matters.
