Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle — JD creation, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer rollout, and candidate closure.
- Hire across Tech/IT roles (PHP, Laravel, Python, ReactJS developers, engineers) and non-tech/support functions.
- Build and manage a strong talent pipeline through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Manage and optimize the ATS for efficient candidate tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with Founders and team leads to understand hiring needs and deliver on time-to-fill targets.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Design and execute a structured, engaging onboarding process that makes new hires feel welcomed and productive from Day 1.
- Prepare and manage offer letters, appointment letters, NDAs, and joining documentation.
- Conduct onboarding sessions covering company culture, policies, tools, and team introductions.
- Manage smooth offboarding including exit interviews, clearance checklists, and knowledge transfer coordination.
- HR Operations & Payroll
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance tracking, leave management, and employee records on Keka HRMS.
- Coordinate the monthly salary processing cycle — inputs, deductions, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT), and payout coordination.
- Ensure HR policies are documented, communicated, and consistently followed across entities.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, leaves, and HR policies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and ensure compliance with labor law requirements.
- Work Culture & Employee Engagement
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team events, celebrations, and recognition programs.
- Conduct regular pulse checks to understand employee sentiment and address concerns proactively.
- Support performance review cycles and help managers with structured feedback processes.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on workplace matters and conflict resolution.
- Office & Admin Management
- Oversee day-to-day office administration including vendor management, facility upkeep, and supplies.
- Coordinate with building management, IT, and external service providers for smooth office operations.
- Manage office-related procurement and ensure the workspace remains organized and welcoming.
- Support logistics for team events, visitor management, and office communications.
- 3+ years of hands-on HR experience in the IT industry, across both HR operations and recruitment.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end hiring for tech roles (developers, engineers) and non-tech positions.
- Prior experience in a startup or small-to-mid-size IT company is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Keka HRMS for attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
- Experience working with an ATS for recruitment management.
- Strong sourcing skills — LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, employee referrals.
- High ownership mindset — comfortable working independently and taking end-to-end accountability.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Bachelor's degree with a relevant HR certification is also considered.
- A high-ownership, highly visible HR role at a growing tech company.
- Direct reporting to the Founder with real influence over people strategy and culture.
- A collaborative, candid, and learning-oriented work environment.
- Opportunity to build and shape HR systems from the ground up.
- Competitive compensation aligned with your experience and impact.
