About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner – Projects to partner with our project teams across multiple sites. Candidates from construction, interiors, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, EPC, or other operational environments with strong Filed HR experience are encouraged to apply.


This is a senior individual contributor role requiring regular field presence and travel across multiple project sites within Bengaluru. The role will partner closely with project leadership to ensure effective workforce management and seamless HR operations employee relations, and statutory compliance, ensuring seamless people operations throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and project leaders to deliver end-to-end HR support across project sites.
  • Conduct regular site visits to understand workforce challenges, strengthen employee connect, and ensure effective implementation of HR processes across project locations.
  • Drive workforce planning, manpower deployment, and resource optimization to meet project requirements.
  • Manage HR operations, including onboarding, attendance, leave administration, employee records, and HRMS compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, staffing partners, and vendors to ensure timely workforce deployment.
  • Drive employee engagement, grievance resolution, and employee relations across project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Support workplace safety, compliance initiatives, and coordination with statutory authorities.
  • Facilitate onboarding, safety inductions, and capability-building initiatives for site employees.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve HR processes and the employee experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively across project sites within Bengaluru as part of regular job responsibilities.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience in Site HR, Project HR, Field HR, Manufacturing, Industrial, EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, or other operational environments with a significant on-ground workforce.
  • Proven experience managing engineering, technical, and grey-collar workforces.
  • Strong expertise in workforce planning, manpower deployment, and labour vendor management.
  • Experience partnering with Project Heads, Construction Managers, contractors, staffing agencies, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR operations in project environments.
  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory to effectively engage with the local workforce, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
