Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive HR Assistant Manager to join our Pune team. This individual contributor role will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, attendance tracking, and coordination with internal stakeholders. The role reports directly to the HR Head and plays a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Zoho HR systems, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be comfortable handling time-sensitive tasks independently in a night-shift environment supporting global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete onboarding processes: documentation, profile creation, induction setup, and verification workflows
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
- Handle attendance monitoring, leave management, shift schedules, and HRIS updates (Zoho People or similar tools)
- Support HR compliance, including audits, policy documentation, and record maintenance
- Coordinate with internal teams and leadership for HR-related data, requests, and employee engagement activities
- Assist in grievance handling, query resolution, and follow-up on escalations
- Prepare HR reports, MIS dashboards, tracking sheets, and analytics
- Ensure strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
- Contribute to improving HR processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 - 6 years of experience in HR Operations or employee lifecycle management
- Mandatory experience with Zoho People / Zoho HRMS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and reliability in managing structured processes
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting global teams or working in an RPO environment
- Knowledge of HR compliance, onboarding standards, and documentation protocols
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented approach
