Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an HPC IT Administrator based in Bengaluru. The HPC IT Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support, managing network and system administration, and troubleshooting IT issues. The role requires hands-on involvement in maintaining the IT infrastructure to optimize the organization's operations and ensure smooth functionality on a day-to-day basis. Job Description: HPC IT Administrator Position Overview We are looking for an experienced HPC IT Administrator to manage and support our high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Linux system administration, virtualization, storage, automation, and cloud environments, with a proven track record of supporting large-scale compute clusters and engineering tools. ? Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain HPC clusters, ensuring high availability and performance. Install, configure, and manage Linux servers and virtualized environments (VMware, cloud). Support deployment and maintenance of engineering/EDA tools and license servers. Manage enterprise storage systems and ensure secure, efficient data transfer. Implement automation (Ansible, scripting) to improve IT operations. Ensure security, access control, and compliance across HPC infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and global teams. ? Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. 10+ years of IT administration experience with a focus on HPC environments. Strong knowledge of Linux systems, virtualization, storage, and automation tools. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is an advantage.
