Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Mangrove Heritage Home in Kochi. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, well-maintained, and presented to luxury standards. Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring housekeeping tasks, inspecting rooms and common areas, coordinating with laundry services, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linens. The Housekeeping Supervisor will train and guide housekeeping team members, address guest requests or concerns promptly, and collaborate with front office and maintenance teams to support seamless guest experiences. The role also involves implementing hygiene and safety procedures, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in service quality.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff and coordinate daily operations.
• Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping experience, including knowledge of cleaning procedures, room standards, and use of equipment and supplies.
• Candidates should possess hands-on Laundry skills, including managing linen care, stain treatment, and coordination of laundering schedules.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues and respond to service requests professionally.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or senior housekeeping role in hotels, resorts, or heritage properties is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards, and willingness to follow and enforce property policies and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with housekeeping or property management systems are beneficial.
• A diploma or certificate in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent experience will be considered.
