This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Department (HOD) - Computer Science, based in Mohali district. The HOD will oversee academic and administrative operations, develop and implement computer science curricula, lead software development projects, and mentor faculty and students. Responsibilities include fostering innovation in programming and informatics, managing departmental resources, and collaborating with other departments to achieve institutional goals.

• Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals, including programming, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience in Software Development and the ability to manage technology-related projects
• Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with faculty, students, and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Informatics and its applications within academic and research contexts
• Leadership and management experience in an academic or professional environment
• Vision for driving digital transformation and creating market-relevant educational programs
• PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes is a plus
