About the Role

Please find below the Open positions that we are hiring for our Oragadam / Vallam / Cheyyar Plants. We are looking candidates with Engineering Graduate.

Positions :

1. Third Shift Operations (MSE)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Manufacturing Systems Engineering
• Designation: Senior Engineer (3+ Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Lead the full equipment lifecycle from layout planning and RFQ preparation to machine installation and commissioning.
• Support production ramp-up by managing wear parts procurement and implementing continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to achieve volume and quality targets while minimizing line rejections and costs.

2. MSE Engine Assembly

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Engine Assembly Systems
• Designation: Asst. Manager (4-5 Years) / Senior Engineer (3-4 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Manage the establishment and capacity ramp-up of engine assembly lines with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Execute technical discussions, drawing approvals, and machine inspections at supplier sites to ensure design compliance.
• Oversee the transition of new processes from trial stages to full production handover and operational stability.

3. MSE Vehicle Assembly

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Vehicle Assembly Operations
• Designation: Asst. Manager (6-10 Years) / Senior Engineer (3+ Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Deliver production targets according to the PPC plan while maintaining strict adherence to safety and cost standards.
• Manage the vehicle model mix and coordinate with Outbound Logistics for seamless product delivery.
• Implement and lead self-directed operating teams to foster a high-performance culture within the assembly shop.

4. NPD - Civil

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Infrastructure & Site Supervision
• Designation: Asst. Manager (10+ Years) / Senior Engineer (5-10 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Supervise site activities including civil, interior, and epoxy works to ensure alignment with architectural intent and quality standards.
• Liaise between contractors, PMC, and production teams to manage documentation, NCRs, and project timelines.
• Validate on-site measurements (JMR) for vendor billing and strictly enforce safety permits and Schedule of Rates (SOR).

5. MSE - Fabrication / Third Shift (Tank Line)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Fabrication Process Setup
• Designation: Senior Engineer (3 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Independently handle process setup and lead improvement projects for new model industrialization and NPD development.
• Execute line balancing, plant layouts, and budget management while ensuring full PPAP documentation compliance.
• Coordinate vendor activities and lead sub-projects focused on Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA-VE).

6. ME - Machining (Operations)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Inhouse Engine Parts Machining
• Designation: Asst. Manager / Senior Engineer (3 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Optimize machining for aluminum die-cast components (Crankcase, Cylinder Head) using hands-on Fanuc-based programming.
• Analyze Takt time and bottleneck stations to improve shop floor productivity and smooth work allocation.
• Drive cost-control initiatives for consumables and power while overseeing Poka-Yoke validation and machine maintenance.

7. PE - Machining (Precision)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Precision Machining & Maintenance
• Designation: Asst. Manager (3 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Interpret blueprints to perform precision machining on critical engine parts, ensuring strict dimensional tolerances.
• Align fixtures and cutting tools while regulating machining factors (speed/feed) via Fanuc controllers.
• Ensure machine availability through predictive maintenance and resolve field failures using structured problem-solving.

8. NPD - Electrical

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Electrical Utility Projects
• Designation: Assistant Manager (8-10 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Execute HT/LT distribution and substation projects (up to 110 kV) from initial BOQ to final commissioning.
• Liaise with government bodies (CEIG/DISCOM) to secure power sanctions and mandatory energization clearances.
• Manage the procurement cycle and contractor supervision to ensure installations match approved safety and technical standards.

9. NPD - Mechanical (Environmental)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Environmental Engineering & Sustainability
• Designation: Assistant Manager (8-10 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Oversee the design and operation of STP, ETP, and RO/ZLD systems to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge goals.
• Lead the regulatory process for CTE/CTO renewals and Environmental Clearances via the OCMMS/SEIAA portals.
• Implement mandatory air, noise, and groundwater monitoring programs while ensuring strict CPCB guideline compliance.

10. NPD - Mechanical (Fire & HVAC)

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Fire Safety & Utility Infrastructure
• Designation: Manager (8-10 Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Lead the design and commissioning of fire hydrants, sprinklers, and HVAC systems in compliance with NFPA/NBC standards.
• Manage industrial utility networks, including chillers and compressed air, focusing on energy efficiency and leakage audits.
• Control CAPEX/OPEX budgets and manage the end-to-end PR/PO process for plant expansion projects.

11. Automation - Machining

• Department: Projects & ME
• Role: Robotics & PLC Programming
• Designation: Assistant Manager (3+ Years)
• Roles & Responsibilities: * Deliver hands-on programming and optimization for CNC, PLC, and robotic systems (Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB).
• Develop complex PLC logic and electrical circuits to integrate automated processes across the shop floor.
• Manage preventive maintenance for robotic cells and drive VA-VE projects to enhance manufacturing flow.
