We are hiring for a senior leadership role: Head – Internal Audit / Third Line of Defense (3LOD) for a leading Banking GCC / Captive organization in India.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to build and lead a high-performing Internal Audit function supporting global banking operations, technology, risk, compliance, and business functions across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Internal Audit / 3LOD function for the Banking GCC, ensuring independent and risk-based audit coverage across operations, technology, finance, and regulatory areas
• Develop and execute enterprise-wide audit plans aligned to organizational risk priorities and regulatory expectations
• Partner with global audit teams, regulators, senior leadership, and control functions across 1LOD and 2LOD
• Strengthen audit governance, quality assurance, issue management, and reporting frameworks
• Lead transformation initiatives across audit analytics, automation, AI-enabled auditing, continuous monitoring, and digital assurance
• Build and mentor high-performing audit teams across banking operations, technology, and risk domains
• Present audit observations, risk themes, and control insights to senior leadership and audit committees

Ideal Candidate

• 20+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Controls Assurance, or Regulatory Compliance within Banking or Financial Services
• Strong experience leading Internal Audit / 3LOD functions in a GCC, Captive, or global banking environment
• Experience managing global stakeholders, regulators, and large cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of banking operations, technology platforms, risk management, and control environments
• Exposure to audit transformation, automation, analytics, and AI-led assurance preferred
