Hiring for Storage L2 (SAN - Hitachi storages) Experience:? 5 years- 7 years Location:? Navi Mumbai Mode:? Work from Office (5Days working) Budget:? 15LPA - 20LPA Notice Period: ?Immediate or Serving upto 15 days maximum Required: Skill requirements from assigned onsite RE *? 5 years+ experience ?in handling majority of activities mentioned in Services Scope?section. * Experience in handling? Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure . * Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified?compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management. * Strong verbal and written communication. * Hitachi Technical certification is desirable. Role & Responsibilities: A. Responsible for managing the day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments,?including: a. Collaborate with Customer?s storage support teams b. Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned task(s), functional area(s) or project(s) c. Support the design, operation, workflow and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure d. Help maintain systems level maintenance for storage infrastructure e. Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth f. Maintain storage documentation, procedures and reporting g. Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration h. Storage Allocations to server infrastructure B. Manage infrastructure events: a. Capacity Management b. Monitor storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity c. Perform capacity analysis; analyze performance data and trends d. Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth C. Problem resolution: a. Preliminary Problem diagnosis and documentation b. Co-ordinate with Hitachi Global Support for Incident resolution D. Investigate and diagnose raised problem(s) or problem records for root cause analysis: a. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with best practices from Hitachi Global Support and Company change management policies b. Interface with assigned Hitachi storage engineers to manage the implementation of all additional storage infrastructure and storage services E. Mentor and train junior admins F. Oversee the design, installation, configuration and de-provision of storage solutions G. Performance Management for SAN and storage: a. Perform capacity tuning; provide remediation recommendation H. IT Service continuity management, including monitoring of: a. Responsible for providing Disaster Recovery solutions as it relates to SAN and NAS storage by developing and maintaining a library of procedures for disaster recovery documentation b. Data movement and replication c. Business Resumption Testing (DR) for storage.
