Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers at specified addresses, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for Bigbasket.
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery and handle transactions securely.
• Handle products with care, ensuring they are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service during each delivery.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as needed.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including addresses and payment status for Bigbasket.
• Follow company protocols for safe driving and efficient route planning.
• Report any delivery issues or customer feedback to the management team at Bigbasket.
• Ensure all delivery equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.
  
  

Requirements

• Good communication skills in Hindi and/or English for interacting with customers on behalf of Bigbasket.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to handle cash transactions securely and accurately.
• Basic knowledge of local routes and areas in Mumbai.
• A valid driver’s license (for those using vehicles) or comfort with cycling.
• Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
