Job Title: Healthcare Integration Consultant Location: Chennai / Pune Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only Experience: 8?15 Years Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Healthcare Integration Consultant ( SME ? CCDA and FHIR) with deep expertise in loading, transforming, and validating CCDA and FHIR data within clinical data repositories. The ideal professional will possess a strong background in healthcare interoperability standards, clinical data integration, and data quality frameworks. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless ingestion and exchange of clinical data across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities 1. CCDA & FHIR Data Expertise Lead ingestion, parsing, and transformation of CCDA and FHIR resources into enterprise data platforms or Clinical Data Repositories (CDRs). Map, normalize, and validate CCDA elements such as encounters, allergies, medications, and immunizations to FHIR resources. 2. Data Integration & Loading Design and implement scalable pipelines to load structured and semi-structured healthcare data (CCDA, FHIR, HL7) into target systems. Work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure optimal ingestion workflows and performance. 3. Data Quality & Validation Define validation rules and perform conformance testing for FHIR and CCDA payloads. Ensure adherence to interoperability standards, clinical data governance guidelines, and regulatory compliance. 4. Collaboration & SME Support Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical informatics teams to define data models, mapping strategies, and workflows. Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of data ingestion and transformation issues. Stay updated on HL7 standards, US Core FHIR requirements, and ONC interoperability regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications 8?15 years of experience in healthcare data integration, interoperability, or clinical data management. Strong hands-on experience with CCDA parsing, validation, mapping, and ingestion. Deep understanding of FHIR resource structures, US Core profiles, and RESTful API integrations. Experience working with FHIR servers (e.g., HAPI FHIR, InterSystems IRIS, etc.). Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or data transformation tools such as Informatica, Talend, Dataflow, or Spark. Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure and their healthcare data services. Solid knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, CCD, C-CDA, and FHIR. Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare data security best practices. Excellent analytical skills, documentation capabilities, and communication skills.
