Health & Safety Manager (Recycling/Waste)

£45,000 - £52,000 + 33 days holiday + Health Cash Plans + Life Insurance Cover + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Chorley, Darwen, Bolton, Wigan, Standish, Ramsbottom. Other locations will also be considered.

Are you from a Health and Safety background with experience in either a recycling/waste environment OR a processing/manufacturing environment looking for an autonomous role within a forward-thinking company?

In this role you will work to oversee health, safety, environment and compliance across large-scale processing site where you will work to implement new processes and systems within a company well known their excellent benefits package.

The company are established across the UK and due to continued growth and expansion they are now expanding headcount across the business with the addition of a Health and Safety manager who will oversee H&S and Compliance across this site.

This role would suit an H&S professional looking for a long-term permanent position.

The Role:

• In this role you will work to develop and lead H&S, Environmental, Quality and compliance across a large-scale processing site.
• Duties of the role will include but are not limited to: Compliance, H&S, Risk Assessments, Continuous Improvement, Audits, ISO’s and more.
• Site based at their site in Bolton
• Monday – Friday Days Based (42.5hrs)

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar level H&S role
• You will have some previous experience in a processing, recycling or waste management-based environment, construction or similar industry.
• You will ideally hold IOSH or a NEBOSH qualification
• Driving license
• Looking for a long-term permanent position
