About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head – Sales & Marketing to lead the sales, referral marketing, and business development function for a leading multi-specialty hospital in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hospital sales and marketing, strong relationships within the healthcare ecosystem, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth, patient referrals, and strategic partnerships.

The candidate should have worked with a 350+ bed multi-specialty hospital managing an annual business of ₹250+ Crores.

Key ResponsibilitiesReferral Marketing & Doctor Relationship Management

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with referring doctors, consultants, and visiting specialists.
  • Recruit and manage a strong network of consultants to increase patient referrals.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for doctors and key medical professionals.
  • Design and execute referral marketing strategies to enhance patient footfall.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving business development and sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, insurance companies, TPAs, and institutional partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence through strategic initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships that contribute to long-term business growth.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives to generate leads and improve patient engagement.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Corporate & Community Engagement

  • Build relationships with corporate organizations, healthcare associations, and community partners.
  • Represent the organization at healthcare events, networking forums, and industry meetings.
  • Develop outreach programs to increase awareness and patient acquisition.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and drive a performance-oriented culture.
  • Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and training programs to enhance team capability.

Business Strategy

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to achieve zonal objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
  • Analyze business performance and recommend strategic improvements to maximize revenue and profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • 12–18 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the hospital or healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing sales and marketing for a 350+ bed multi-specialty hospital with annual revenue exceeding ₹250 Crores.
  • Strong network with doctors, consultants, corporates, insurance companies, and TPAs.
  • Proven expertise in referral marketing, business development, corporate relations, and patient acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing, branding, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
  • Ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
