The Opportunity:
An exceptional career opportunity for innovative, committed, and forward-looking individual to create transformational value in Nickel Business.
- The leader will own metallurgical and quality governance across Nickel refining and hydrometallurgy, controlling critical process parameters to ensure metallurgical discipline, maximum metal recovery, impurity control, and consistent Nickel Sulphate product quality.
- He / She will lead end‑to‑end QA, IMS/QMS/EMS compliance, and continuous improvement across the value chain—from ore handling, leaching, SX, and crystallization to final product dispatch—ensuring zero deviations and zero customer complaints.
- He / She will strengthen analytical and data governance through robust sampling systems, full traceability, real‑time monitoring, and end‑to‑end sample lifecycle management from collection to reporting.
- He / She will oversee QC laboratory operations, including method development and validation, instrument reliability and calibration, and deployment of advanced analytical technologies to support process and product excellence.
- He / She will achieve, maintain, and enhance NABL (ISO 17025) accreditation, driving documentation control, PT/ILC participation, uncertainty evaluation, audit readiness, and strong QC/QA discipline.
- He / She will drive digital transformation of QC, leading LIMS enhancements, integration with SAP/MES/MIS, development of dashboards, and automation of analytical workflows for speed, accuracy, and transparency.
- He / She will lead root cause analysis, deviation investigations, and CAPA execution, driving continuous improvement in yield, impurity reduction, process stability, and overall product quality.
- He / She will ensure full compliance with IMS standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001), regulatory requirements, environmental norms, and laboratory safety standards.
- He / She will build and sustain QC/QA capability, driving structured training and upskilling in hydrometallurgy, analytical chemistry, laboratory best practices, and advanced analytical systems.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in chemical engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in nickel manufacturing or related industries.
- Expert in nickel refining and hydrometallurgical quality governance, ensuring tight process control, high metal recovery, effective impurity management, and consistent Nickel Sulphate quality.
- Seasoned leader in end‑to‑end QA/QC and NABL‑accredited systems, driving IMS compliance, analytical excellence, LIMS–SAP/MES integration, and strong RCA/CAPA to achieve zero deviations and customer complaints.
