Job Description
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Engineering degree with a 15–20+ years of experience with at least:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Establish project planning, scheduling and monitoring system robust and governance.
- Guide the team for following terms related to following:
- Establish and implement Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the entire project scope.
- Develop Front-End schedules focusing on critical activities for timely project initiation.
- Create Level 1–6 schedules using Primavera and databases, considering phases, disciplines, construction areas, and work packages.
- Baseline Level-6 schedules and derive critical paths.
- Implementation BIM for progress monitoring
- Integrate and manage multiple EPC schedules from consultants, vendors, and equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate material availability (including bulks) to ensure timely delivery to contractors.
- Collaborate with the TC team, CAD team and vendors for equipment delivery and expediting plans.
- Build staffing histograms and progress curves to align manpower with scheduled activities.
- Analyze contractor manpower needs periodically and adjust based on productivity and progress.
- Expedite materials and equipment (Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation).
- Develop standard templates and guidelines for reporting.
- Issue weekly and monthly progress reports covering critical issues, accomplishments, forecasts, and deviations.
- Implement mechanisms for accurate performance forecasting against baselines.
- Support Project Managers and Execution Leads in tracking schedules and progress.
- Organize project review meetings with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure timely release of engineering deliverables, procurement documents, and vendor approvals.
- Maintain a project database and MIS system for document flow and updates.
- Manage a Change Register to track scope variations and update baselines with approvals.
Engineering degree with a 15–20+ years of experience with at least:
- Proven experience in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in Primavera, MS Project, BIM and other scheduling tools.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
