Job Description

Job Title: Vice President – Sales

Reports To: CEO / Managing Director

Role Overview

The Vice President – Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth

through strong team leadership, strict performance management, and execution excellence. This role

demands a highly assertive leader who builds high-performing teams, enforces accountability, and

consistently delivers results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets

• Own end-to-end sales performance across regions, products, and channels

• Drive market expansion, key account acquisition, and strategic partnerships

Very Strong Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performance sales team with a strong Team Lead culture

• Set clear targets, daily/weekly tracking, and non-negotiable performance standards

• Enforce discipline, accountability, and result-driven execution across all levels

• Mentor Team Leads to drive aggressive follow-ups, closures, and conversions

• Take decisive action on underperformance and reward consistent achievers

Performance & Execution

• Monitor KPIs, pipelines, conversions, and closures with strict review mechanisms

• Conduct regular performance reviews and field/market reviews

• Ensure targets are met through hands-on leadership, not delegation alone Cross-Functional & Reporting

• Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align execution

• Present sales forecasts, performance reports, and action plans to leadership

• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

• 12–18 years of sales experience with 5+ years in senior leadership

• Proven success in building and leading aggressive, target-driven sales teams

• Strong decision-making, negotiation, and people-management skills
